WINDOWS/MAC INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS FOR THE SEQUENCE PRESET (current as of Premiere CC Version 12.1.1)
- Open the “IGTV Premiere Pro Presets” folder and make a note of where the “Export Preset” and “Sequence Preset” folders are located on your computer.
- To install the “Sequence Preset”, open the “Sequence Preset” folder, right click on “IGTV Vertical 1080×1920 23.976.sqpreset” and select “Copy”.
- On Windows, navigate to “C:\Users\(USERNAME)\Documents\Adobe\Premiere Pro\12.0\Profile-(USERNAME)\Settings\Custom” and right click and select “Paste” to paste the “IGTV Vertical 1080×1920 23.976.sqpreset there.
On Mac, navigate to “~/Documents/Adobe/Premiere Pro/12.0/Profile-(USERNAME)/Settings/Custom” and right click and select “Paste” to paste the “IGTV Vertical 1080×1920 23.976.sqpreset there.
- Open Premiere Pro and go to “File > New > Sequence”. The “IGTV Vertical 1080×1920 23.976” Preset should be a selectable sequence available under “Custom”.
WINDOWS/MAC INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS FOR THE IGTV EXPORT PRESET (current as of Premiere CC Version 12.1.1)
- Open Adobe Media Encoder.
- From the top menu select “Preset” > “Import”.
- Navigate to the “Export Preset” folder inside the “IGTV Premiere Pro Presets Folder” and select the “IGTV Vertical 1080×1920 23.976 7.5mbps CBR.epr” file and click “Open”.
- Your Export Preset is now ready to use and can be selected under as a Preset under the “h.264” format when exporting from Premiere Pro.
